Odd Clouds – Deceiving Illusion LP

NNF143

A thousand years ago, in 2006, Michigan mawler squad Odd Clouds dropped their opus, The Cavernous End. Within the narrow sphere of freeform psych-jazz mayhem, nothing compared. Unfortunately not much has followed in its wake aside from a few rehearsal-space experiments issued via their own Fag Tapes and Tasty Soil imprints. Thus it is exciting to be able to finally offer the group’s latest album-length affair, Deceiving Illusion. A rumbling six-song spelunk through freaky garbage punk, robot throat noise, motorik brass damage, and commune beardo blaze. Abuse yr Illusion. Black vinyl LPs in 3-color silkscreened jackets with artwork by Chris Pottinger and Jamie Easter, plus a double-sided photocopied insert.
