Berlin-by-way-of-Barcelona gold coaster JMII has been exploring the looser, jazzier realms of acid and hybridized house for years via a host of aliases and projects (including an EP on Hieroglyphic Being’s label), but Nueva York is his most confident and cruise controlled. Moments of tripped out gospel and freeform synth sequencings ebb and evenflow over tranced, psychedelic vistas. Cut at 45 but sounds epic jammed at 33 too.
