Long-gunning French-Canadian duo EZLV fall somewhere between the choicest Sound Stream sides and recent Malvoeaux cuts, pleasure-hungry house/disco edits looped with strobe-lit keys and classic vocal samples, stretched and shaped into weirdly melancholic new forms. “Inside Out” (featured on the Japan-only SILK compilation, The Silk Road) is a real heartbreaker.
