A long-distance collab between LA/NY DJ Manderson and a Vancouver-based globe-cruiser multi-instrumentalist-producer Szam, Body Double already have a 2nd 12” on Tokyo’s Big Love label, plus a host of weirdly worldwide future plans. This single slays for days, slamming industrial swagger vox samples pitch-shifting through heavy clang, dope soundtrack synths, crack rimshots, jacked out percussion fills, total grandiosity in the best possible way. The flip, “Be Strong,” is arguably even sicker.
